My Inspirational Mould

Like what I noted in my Tableau Vivant blog, I developed my love for inspirational and spiritual music from my late mother.

Yes, she was our musician in the family without playing any musical instruments at all. The only instrument she had was our old Hymnal to which I parted in a long long time.

In our roamings, I lost track of our family chattels including the family photographs and most importantly our Church Hymnal.

About 14 years ago, I made friends with a lady from the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Through her, I re-acquired my own personal copy of a new Hymnal Book for a keepsake and for sentimental reason in memory of my Mother.

Some of the songs that I loved most are not found in this edition of said Hymnal and I am trying to find them in You Tube Channels. There is one particular channel whom I am subscribing to and he plays the pipe organ.

I am attributing this blog for his music that have been a part of my life since childhood.

At nighttime in my solitude, the moment I rest my head on the pillow, concomitant to my silent prayer the songs our dear mother taught us and those that I learned in the church would play in my head. The melody and the harmonious tune of the music seem to be there as if they were already programmed in my head that they just automatically play as I quietly sing along.

One of the songs that I am still looking at the moment is Sweet Beaulah Land to which later would become my handle in my You Tube channel.

It carries lyrics like this:

"There is a land of corn and wine
And all its joy will soon be mine
Here shines undimmed one blissful day
For all the nights have passed away."

I hope someone will be able to help me find the complete wordings of this beautiful song.

Inspirational music helps me keep going with life. It gives me a lift when times are down. It is my elixir to loneliness. It gives me sense of purpose knowing and understanding God's plan for humankind.

Inspirational music will always be a part of Me. I decided to create this 17th blog in dedication to the Lord, special music that sets apart from the rests of the music I already have.
